The goal of SD HipHopEvents' artist lineup is not to list every person who raps, but rather to compile a directory of the unique sounds and characters that San Diego has to offer.  To be on the list an artist must fulfill all of the following criteria.  

1.    Have at least one album out.  (Original beats/quality mixing)
2.    Has performed at various local shows by artistic demand.  
               (No pay-to-play.)
3.    Can be booked professionally for events.  
4.    Must be from San Diego, or reside in San Diego for 10+ years.

*Exceptions apply to pioneers, the deceased, and battle veterans.  

LET US KNOW ABOUT YOUR ALBUM RELEASES MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME TO BE CONSIDERED AS A FEATURE!  

An album-release event can be co-arranged if administrator is notified with at least 3-month advance notice, and if artist is selected.

 TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK VIA EMAIL send the following to:  [email protected]
                  1) Artist Name
                  2) Links to albums 
                  3) Links to upcoming shows or live footage
                  5) Your personal contact information for correspondence with site administrator and/or booking requests, (not listed publicly, phone# mandatory.)  

Once a submission is received, you will be notified within confirmation of receipt within 72 hours.  Feel free to message us on FB to inform us that you have sent an email.
