Vegas Hip Hop Event's event calendar, unveiled in 2017 following the release of SDHipHopEvents.com in 2012 and nyhiphopevents.com in 2014, is tailored to the interests of bboys, emcees, graffiti artists, DJs, activists, and fans of Hip Hop culture. Anyone can use it as a directory to discover new things, a scheduling tool, or a promotional-target map. Conceptualized in 2009 by New York native and journalist, Keryn Eliyse, aka "Coastal Ninja," and created in 2014 after years of on-the-ground research and contributions, VEGAS Hip Hop Events fills a void of a regionally targeted, widely inclusive, and quality controlled guide to Vegas Hip Hop that includes the MAINSTREAM and underground, corporate and INDEPENDENT. We are free, add free, and require no membership. VEGAS Hip Hop Events promotes growing consciousness. The site encourages people to get out of the screens' influences of mass media and click bait, and embrace what the community has to offer live and in person, serving as a guiding resource to do so.
